The ingenuity of the K.I.S.S. Frame Lock design is that the secure, safe, and strong blade lock serves not only as part of the frame, but also as the handle itself. A thumb stud is used to one-hand open the blade, and as the blade is fully rotated open, the Frame Lock snaps crisply in behind the blade to guarantee a sound lock-up. The blade can be closed with one hand by simply releasing the Frame Lock.

The blade shape is Chisel-Point on the front and flat on the backside so that when the blade is closed onto its handle/frame, the precision fit actually "seals" the cutting edge to the frame, even though it's exposed. Both blade and frame are AUS 6M stainless steel and are fine bead-blast finished, as is the pocket/money clip and other hardware.

The design of the K.I.S.S. pocket/money clip permits it to be used in a variety of ways: clipped to the pocket; as a money clip knife; and with split-ring or lanyard, as a key chain knife.

• Barracuda knives utilize the latest innovations in knife design and materials. Opening and closing the blade can be done effortlessly with one hand. The modern Point Guard design is slim and trim, with no excess. There is just enough handle to hold the blade. Holes and slots are incorporated to minimize handle weight and located so that frame strength is not reduced. The rear of the handle is rounded to maintain the minimal profile, which permits the knife to be held comfortably regardless of hand size. At top rear of the handle are friction grooves that create greater control in both natural and reverse grips.

The blade of AUS 6M stainless steel is a drop point design for greater utility. The high hollow ground makes resharpening easier. An ambidextrous thumb disk for one-hand opening is used instead of a thumb stud to minimize frame width. A removable, black Teflon-plated, custom designed pocket clip is standard on the Point Guard.

• Signature knives feature clean, modern styling in a top-quality knife. A lightweight Zytel® frame gives them strength and durability. A textured surface provides a positive grip. Features a removable belt or pocket clip than can be installed in place of the lanyard if preferred. They also have half-serrated blades for tough cutting jobs. All the Signature knives have an AUS-8A stainless steel blade that resists rust, holds a sharp edge and resharpens easily. Every model has an upfront lock release for one-handed closing.
