WHO IS WILEYOUTDOORSPORTS.COM?
As many of our existing customers may know, Wiley Outdoor Sports was established in 1953 on the corner of Lee and Bank streets in Decatur, Alabama. Currently, our retail store and internet operations are located in what is described as the "old Sears building" on 6th Avenue/Highway 31 in
Decatur. In years past, many of our longer-term customers may remember our mail order operation concentrating on hunting and shooting product which we operated from the 1960's through the 1980's. We are still a small, family-owned business which has adapted and changed over the years to the ever-changing market conditions.
We love retail and the interaction with our retail store customers; However, a drastically-changed market once again is showing it's time to expand our e-commerce operations. The good news is an altered business model will allow us to deliver offerings which would be impossible from a traditional retail store and the fixed expenses and limited market could provide. We highly encourage and cannot stress enough the importance of each customer signing up and opting in as a WileyOutdoorSports.com e-blast recepient. How do I make a purchase?
Products are purchased through the use of shopping carts. No, not the kind you push around but a virtual cart. When you find a product that you are interested in purchasing then enter the quantity and click the ADD TO CART button next to the item. This will add the product to your own personal shopping cart and show you its contents. You may add as many items to your shopping cart as you would like. When you are finished shopping, click the VIEW CART button on the main header. This will link and show you the items in your cart. You may, at anytime, change the quantity or remove any item from your cart. If for some reason you are not able to finish shopping and would like to come back later, please do so. Your shopping cart will be just as it was when you left it for 24 hours.
When you enter the Check-Out Stand, we provide three different ways for you to purchase products from WileyOutdoorSports.com.

Sales Tax
WileyOutdoorSports.com is based in the state of Alabama and is required by state law to collect sales tax for all goods shipped within the state of Alabama at a 4% tax rate. If your order is within Alabama, you will be ask to check the SALES TAX for Alabama box during check-out. If you check this box, then the final price will reflect the true total cost. If you do not check this box, we will have to charge the additional sales tax prior to shipping the order. Additionally, should your purchase be within the city of Decatur or Huntsville, we are required to collect a total of 9% for Decatur addresses and 8.5% total for Huntsville addresses.
Payment Methods
We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Your credit card will be charged only when each item is shipped. Additionally, we accept payment thru PayPal. We will accept payment by money order, cashier's check or a personal check, if necessary, through mail orders. However, no orders will be shipped until your check clears the Bank, generally 10 days.
Shipping Arrangements
When a customer signs up for membership, we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders above $49 in product to the 48 contiguous states. We ship orders via Fed Ex Ground, UPS, and by US mail. In some instances, such as heavy porduct, closeout items or a price-match order, we will charge actual shipping costs; However, these instances will be clearly marked or the customer would be notified of the charge prior to shipping to gain their acknowledgement and approval. If some items of your order can not be filled within that time, a WileyOutdoorSports.com representative will email you the reason for delay. .
All overseas orders will be shipped via US Mail and billed to you at WileyOutdoorSports.com actual shipping cost.
NOTE: Please, enter your street address during checkout. We are NOT able to ship to PO Boxes.

The quick search is an entire store search. The search compares what you enter with three different pieces of information: Manufacturer, Description, and the Product Write-up. If any part of your submitted text matches exactly the word, words, or any part of words, then it will return a list of products that meet your criteria. The search requires at least one letter or number to begin searching. As a general rule for searching, the root of the word seems to do better. If your looking for tents and you enter TENTS, then your search will miss all items that have only TENT in their product information.

This virtual store is laid out much like a real store. If you know what you are looking for then finding your item is straight forward. Simply search the site for that item in the quick search text box provided at the top left of the every page. If you are looking for a product type like a scope but not sure which one, then visit the Optics Department by selecting Optics from the department list provided at the top middle of each page and click GO. Unlike the real store, this store takes you right to the department without burning a single calorie. Once in the department, you will find a Manufacturer list. This is a complete list of all Manufacturers represented within that department. Select the Manufacturer of the products you would like to see and click SHOW ME. This will provide a complete manufacturer's product list represented in that department. If the list doesn't provide enough information then click product description of the product that interest you. The detail page will provide you with a picture and a full description of that product. Also on the department page, you will find a list product type represented in that particular department. Click the product type and you will be provided a list of all items in that category.

We have provided you with shipping and tracking information from our Track Order page. You will need your Invoice Number and UserID from your printed invoice or email confirmation letter sent to you upon submitting your order . Please remember that some orders may require separate packages and may arrive at different times.

Customer Returns
Its our goal for everyone to be satisfied with their purchase from WileyOutdoorSports.com. If you are dissatisfied, you may return the item any time within 30 days from the order date. For your convenience, we have provided you with a Return Authorization (RA) section.
Get RA Number
A return due to damage, defect, or error in shipping must be qualified by email or phone within two weeks from receipt. For returns that fall into this category, WileyOutdoorSports.com will immediately ship an exact item replacement for all orders received by credit card. Once the replacement item has been received, the original merchandise must be returned within two weeks to prevent your credit card from being charged for the replacement. All orders made by personal checks must be returned to WileyOutdoorSports.com prior to shipping replacement merchandise.
Customer Refunds
We will process refunds after receipt of returned merchandise. Merchandise must be returned in the original packaging with all pieces, accessories, instructions and manuals. Refunds will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase. Refunds from personal check purchases will have a refund check mailed to the billing address used originally during purchase. Shipping charges are not refundable.
